2DtoMaps Google Maplet

2DtoMaps Maplet is a Google Maps application that allows users to attach an image of their choice onto a map using a specific set of coordinates. Say, it is the last Thursday of November and you are inviting friends over for Thanksgiving dinner. Obviously, in this age of advanced technology you are sending them an email invite with a link to your Google Maps address. For a second please imagine, how much more fun it would be if, instead of a boring “point A” that Google automatically assigns to your home, your friend, when clicking on the link, finds a map with a picture of your house, dining room, or, better yet, your smiling face next to a roasted turkey? That is right, they would get much more excited about your party.

This is only one example of what you can do with our Maplet. Your imagination will allow you to come up with many more applications for the software. In fact, so many people across the world have already started experimenting with 2DtoMaps, that the application made it to the 24th and 72nd spots of the Russian and American Google Maps gadgets lists respectively.

Key Features include:

1. Ability to impose a regular, inclined or a deformed image onto your map
2. Scaling, rotation, and resizing of the image when you zoom in our out of the map.
3. Ability to move the image around and alter the level of its transparency.
