PictureToMap
PictureToMap is a stand-alone application that offers a unique capability to place an image directly on the surface of Google Maps.
PictureToMap allows controlling scale, orientation and transparency of the image. You can save your project in a public archive, which will make it visible to all other users, who could rate and comment on your project, or save it in your private archive and it will be visible only to you.
The tool supports images in the most commonly used formats, such as JPG, JPEG, GIF and PNG. Whether you are a real-estate developer and would like to overlay the blueprint of the layout of your new development over the map of the development area, or you are planning a new landscaping of your backyard, PictureToMap equips you with powerful tool to visualize your design on the actual map and share it with your colleagues, friends and family.
PictureToMap is in Beta release and has been tested on Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0, so we can’t guaranty the same level of quality on other browsers with this release.
