TWM Detailing is a SolidWorks add‐in thatautomates the drawing generation process from the assembly and part environments of SolidWorks.

This tool creates a regular SolidWorks drawing with 3 standard views and lets the user specify a general scheme for the detailing process:

1) Project's Destination Folder
2) Drawing Template
3) BOM Template (for assemblies only)
4) Drawing Name
5) Autodimension Toggle
6) Isometric View Toggle

TWM Detailing allows one to not only specify the scheme for the top level Assembly, but also edit the scheme for each component individually.The drawing views are oriented according to a pre‐defined set of rules that adjust depending onviews count, model type, etc.The 'Select Component' tool allows querying the components by specific criteria: detail type (e.g., fastener, non‐fastener), model type (e.g., part, assembly), and level (e.g., top, sub‐level).

The software, tailored specifically to TWM‐needs, significantly increased designer productivity by reducing time spent onthe drawing generation processes.
